Head & Brain Injuries
Head injuries come in many forms. Any trauma to the head or neck can cause a serious injury known as a traumatic brain injury (or “TBI”). There are three levels of TBI: mild, moderate and severe. Any one of these head injuries can cause chronic, persistent, permanent and catastrophic loss to a victim. Current medical research also indicates that many school-age or professional athletes such as football players, soccer players and hockey players who have suffered any number of concussive hits to the head may have suffered a TBI.
